ErionVeliaj, Minister of Social Welfare and Youth, awarded the prize to Mr Çalik in a ceremony at Zyber Hallulli Orphanage in Tirana in December. Çalik Holding owns Banka Kombëtare Tregtare.
Devoll Hydropower in February marked the start of construction of the Banja-Gramsh replacement road in a ceremony in Cekin attended by Minister of Energy and Industry Damian Gjiknuri, Minister of Infrastructure Edmond Haxhinasto and Stakraft Albania CEO Bredo Erichsen. The total road investment is €33 million, with construction expected to be completed by early 2016.
Raiffeisen Bank Albania CEO Christian Canacaris was elected Chairman of the Albanian Association of Banks with a two year mandate in an association meeting held on 11 February 2015. Mr Canacaris replaced Seyhan Pencabligil, CEO of Banka Kombëtare Tregtare.
